Call to Action for Pennsylvania
residents:
Governor Rendell’s budget
has been published and the funding
for Centers for Independent Living has been cut. This cut would
dramatically reduce the quality and quantity of services for people with
disabilities.
Also,
Governor Rendell's proposed budget includes major reductions in Medicaid
(also called Medical Assistance or MA) services that, if implemented, will
place people with disabilities in serious jeopardy.
Please
tell your legislators to restore the funding
for both NOW!
